While you have that red, white and blue fabric out . . .

While you are working on your red, white and blue star for the July CMQG block challenge, consider also making a block or two to contribute to the Quilts of Valor Foundation 10th Anniversary Project.

While this may not be an opportunity to practice your improvisation skills, it is a chance to support the mission of the Quilts of Valor Foundation, which is to cover all combat service members and veterans touched by war with comforting and healing Quilts of Valor.

Here are a couple of blocks I made this morning, on Father's Day, in honor of my Dad, who was a WWII veteran.
